About
A recent graduate from the Arts University of Bournemouth, I specialised as a maker and completed a comprehensive study of pattern drafting and adapting, costume construction and fabric manipulation.
With an interest in larger, prop based costumes I undertook ambitious projects during my final year where I had the opportunity to get familiar with techniques regularly used within model making, including working with willow cane, fibreglassing and silicone moulding.
After supervising for a theatrical event held in Weymouth which was part of the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony to mark the opening celebrations of the Olympic and Paralympic sailing, I went on to gain 3 weeks work experience and paid work as a costume assistant and dresser for the film production 'Maleficent'. (released in spring 2014)
On completing this I have focused my attention towards the running of costume on film, which I hope to gain more experience on in the future.
